The standard size is about 6 inches, suitable for 2-4 people. The tipsy cake’s flavor profile is rich—it’s meant to be eaten slowly anyway. If there’s leftovers, you can cut and seal portions to freeze, then take out a small piece to enjoy each time.
Q3: Is the 60-minute tempering really necessary?
Yes, absolutely recommended. When just removed from the freezer, the fats and alcohol aromatics are locked in. After coming to room temperature for 60 minutes, the mousse will regain its silkiness, and the whisky’s layered complexity will fully release.
Q4: Will the alcohol in the cake make people drunk?
