When You Should NOT Choose Tipsy Moment
Friday nights in Taipei are the hardest test of any delivery system. We’ve handled rush-hour deliveries that felt impossible — but I also know exactly when we’re not the right answer, even on a Friday.
- You need it in under 2 hours on a Friday evening: Rush hour is real. We build buffer time into Friday slots precisely because traffic is unpredictable. If you’re calling at 7pm wanting delivery by 9pm on a Friday, I’d rather tell you no than promise something we can’t guarantee.
- The recipient is someone you barely know: A premium whisky birthday cake is a high-intimacy gesture. If this is a work colleague you’re not close to, or someone you’ve met twice, a high-quality flower arrangement reads better in that context.
- Your budget is under NT$1,000: Our cakes start at NT$1,388 — that’s the minimum because that’s what quality costs. If that number makes you hesitate, there are plenty of excellent bakeries at a different price point.
- The recipient is pregnant or avoiding alcohol: Real whisky is in every cake we make. Please confirm this is appropriate before ordering — we can’t make a whisky-free version.
